Reconnecting Communities

Ottawa residents have faced loss, sadness and isolation during the past two years. We are moving ahead into a new phase of community.

Is it time to mourn? Feel joy? A bit of both? What feels right to you at this time?

Residents across Ottawa are invited to plan events, small and large, for our community. From a small community picnic for one street, to breakdancing, a drag show on a patio, an online art-making workshop, a panel about communities disproportionately impacted, to an interfaith vigil honouring those we’ve lost.

Plan your event to take place between Saturday, June 11 to Sunday, June 26, 2022 and add it to this site to invite our city.

We provide tips to help you organize an event and this website to announce it.
