DESCRIPTION:An outdoor intergenerational evening of exploring COVID loss\, joy\, and change with expressive arts facilitators Sarah Posthuma & Linda Vanderlee. “Embracing it all” through collective mosaic making\, storytelling\, music and movement. We will be outdoors but there is access to Church of the Ascension washrooms which are wheelchair accessible. SUMMARY:Cornerstone 'Spiritual Wellness Day'
DESCRIPTION:The focus of this day is to provide the residents of Cornerstone Housing for Women with opportunities to experience different positive experiential relaxation and meditation techniques. Learning the art of self soothing\, relaxation and meditation is difficult thing for many of our residents\, as they don’t have the means or opportunities to find these resources on their own. The women will have opportunities to have fun doing yoga\, sacred movement\, art and a spiritual nature. The day will end with a barbeque. \nThis event is only for residents\, volunteers and staff of Cornerstone Housing for Women.
