SUMMARY:SLCAO Vesak Celebrations and Dansala
DESCRIPTION:To celebrate Vesak and Poson\, the Sri Lanka Canada Association of Ottawa (SLCAO) is hosting an in-person event that will consist of Vesak-Koodu (lanterns) displays\, singing of Bakthi Gee (devotional songs) and a Dansala (free meals). This is the first event after 2 years of the COVID pandemic to celebrate month of Vesak and enjoy freedom from the isolation\, stress\, and mental distress that was faced by young and old. \nAll are welcome at this free event. \nFor more information\, contact Chandra Padmini Hapuarachchi at cp_hapu@yahoo.ca or call 613-830-6484.
